Dropwise Planner
A web app that turns a drop regimen into a printed Your Medication List: tapers, pauses, repeating cycles, and custom instructions included. Nothing to install.
Eye-drop care, from the exam room to home
Dropwise carries your eye doctor's instructions home: a printed list from the clinic, an app that reminds you, tags that identify each bottle, and an aid that helps with the squeeze.
The Planner is free for eye-care clinicians. Nothing to install.
How it works
In about a minute: every drop, which eye, how often, and for how long.
Your Medication List prints in large type, with cap colors and a sample day. It is complete on its own.
Scan the code on the list and the Dropwise app sets up every medicine, eye, and schedule. No account.
Planner → paper → phone. Information moves one way. Nothing goes from a patient's phone back to the practice.
The four parts
A web app that turns a drop regimen into a printed Your Medication List: tapers, pauses, repeating cycles, and custom instructions included. Nothing to install.
Reminders that follow the real schedule, a guided session when several drops are due together, and a calendar you can show your doctor. Android first, then iPhone.
Small stickers for the bottom of each bottle. Tap a tagged bottle with your phone and it says which drop it is, which eye, and when it's next due. A tag holds only an ID.
A grip that helps you squeeze the bottle and aim the drop. No batteries, nothing to charge.
For practices and providers
The full Planner and printed lists. Every schedule shape: tapers, pauses, repeating cycles, custom instructions, and a start day tied to surgery or a date.
Pro adds templates, favorites, and saved instructions, so the schedules you write every day are one click away. It keeps your practice roster and locations, fills in the doctor and phone numbers on every list, and prints your logo on each one. Lists can include check-off boxes and a Weekly Drop Schedule for ongoing drops, and your practice appears in the patient's app.
Pricing is per provider, billed monthly. See the current price in the Planner.

Why we built it
“Writing the prescription is the easy part. Dropwise is for everything that comes after.”
Dropwise was built by Matthew J. Weiss, MD, a practicing ophthalmologist in Boca Raton, Florida, and a cornea, cataract, and refractive surgeon. He completed his residency and cornea fellowship at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute and is an affiliate faculty member at Florida Atlantic University's Schmidt College of Medicine. He founded Elben Scientific to make Dropwise.
